Dam of Kaedemaru & Grand Dam of Umemaru

Born on September 20, 1992 in Kumamoto Prefecture, her sire, “Dai 10 Eihou” was proven in Kumamoto and his proof consisted of 22 head, where 22.7% of these carcasses graded higher than the BMS of 5, ranking him six in 1998. Average age of the animals in his proof were 23.8 months with a average daily gain of 0.92 kg.

Her Dam, “Dai 3 Namiaki” was classified Tokyu at 86.2 and is sired by “Shigeharu”.

The second dam was sired by “Ryumei” (also the sire of “Rueshaw”).

Before “Dai 3 Namiaki Ni” left Japan, she was confirmed safe in calf to “Dai 10 Mitsumaru” the resulting calf was named, “Kaedemaru” FB11873 – born on January 01, 1995 making her the first Fullblood Red Wagyu born outside of Japan.

Her Sire, “Dai 10 Mitsumaru” was proven in Kumamoto and his proof consisted of 73 head, where 41.1% graded higher than BMS of 5, ranking him first in 1998. The average age of the animals in his proof were 22.9 months with an average daily gain of 1.00 kg.

“Kaedemaru” is still alive and currently being IVFed.  We have her son, “WSI Umemaru” FB9979 and daughter “WSI Kaedemaru ” FB11873 here at the farm.
