Dam of Hisako (USA) and Great Grand Dam of Takamichi Doi (CAN) and Takuma (CAN).
By Tanishige (JAP) and Kaneshige (JAP)
Born on August 27, 1993 in Hokkaido Prefecture.
Kanetani (IMP JAP) was sired by “Tanishige (JAP)” who was proven by LIAJ and his official proof done by the National Association of Registered Wagyu was DG 0.92 kg, BMS 3.1, and Ribeye Area of 41 cm2.
“Tanishigeʼs (JAP)” maternal line has been well proven and has produced numerous sons in Japan. The most recent success being “Tsurumaru Doi”.
Her Dam, “Kaneshige (JAP)” was sired by “Shigemori (JAP)” – a “Kumanami” product of Hiroshima Prefecture.
Her Grand Dam, “Fukukane (JAP)” is sired by “Nakakane (JAP)”. “Nakakane (JAP)” is a “Kikuteru Doi (JAP)” x “Shigekanenami (JAP)”, proven by LIAJ.
“Kanetani” has similar breeding to “Suzutani” and “Rikitani” making her breeding potential similar to both of these families.
Female progeny are very scarce from this female line and those females that are alive are tightly held by their stud owners.
We have a JVP Fukutsuru 068 (IMP JAP) daughter, “Hisako” (USA) FB5767 currently in the process of being cloned.
